It's time for Five Question Friday with Mama M.

1. If you could be a fly on any wall, which would you choose?

My photography teacher's office so I could figure out how to get a darn A from him!

2. Do you budget your Christmas shopping or just get it done without budgeting?

I have had an idea of a budget in my head the past few years, but don't tend to follow it, it's more of a... ok, I'm only going to spend $x amount on everyone.

3. What is the craziest fad diet you have ever done?

I don't think I have ever been on a diet in my life, for more than a day at least. I do try to eat healthy and exercise everyday most days. I don't think diets really work anyway, you need to change your whole lifestyle, otherwise you are just going to gain the weight right back.

4. Is there a TV show that you have seen every episode/season of?

Where should I start? We have been without cable for a few months now, and I thought the withdraw would be a lot worse than it is to live without DVR, but you can watch just about anything on the internet. Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, Gray's Anatomy, Gossip Girl (I know, I'm a little embarrassed about this one...), there are many more, but I'll spare you.

5. What one song always pulls at your heart?

Temporary Home by Carrie Underwood... I cry every time I hear that one.  Pretty much every country song known to man too.

Here are my girls planning their sneak attack.

We practice hard and have lots of fun!

Raigan is now 10! Months Old!

If we are being totally accurate she is 10 months old and 3 days. When did my newborn turn into a 10 month old? Yesterday she was a tiny little 6 lbs thing, and now she's crawling!

Even though she is very content if you just set her down somewhere and usually only crawls to get something she wants, she's not too much into exploring yet. She did just start crawling for real just a few days ago though, so in due time.

Raiggie has only 4 teeth, two totally in on the bottom, and the two on top slowly coming through. She does not like me taking pictures of her teeth either, just in case you were wondering. This is the only photograph I have where she's not giving me an evil stare or screaming her head off. She'll thank me for recording this historical event later in her life.

She can pull herself up as well and especially likes to do so on the tub while I'm in the shower and just need her to play with the loads of toys I put in front of her for 5 minutes so I can just wash my hair.

She is becoming much more interested in toys (except when I'm trying to shower) and will no longer just sit still and allow me to photograph her.

She even yells at me for doing so like her sister! haha

She enjoys blogging on her laptop just like her mama.

Fights with her sister.

And is the love of my life!

Happy 10 Month Birthday Raigan! I can hardly believe you're growing up on me this fast!

Riley

This is what happens...

when...

you let your very fashion conscious....

three and a half year old...

dress herself.

I think my little Riley will grow up to be a fashion model one day. She is tall and skinny like her father and LOVES clothes and shoes even more than I do. She can even walk in my really high heeled ankle books like a pro, even if they are 10 sizes too big for her. I think she'd fit right in!

Baby Shower!

My mother in law and I are having a baby shower for my sister in law next month and I'm sending out the invitations tomorrow!

She is having a boy. I'm pretty excited about it, because we have girls, so it'll be fun to get to buy baby boy stuff!

Here are the invitations, the theme is Ahoy! It's a Boy! with a nautical theme.

Forget a nurse, I should have been a party planner...

My Little Mini Me

Are you sick of cheerleading posts yet?
No?
Good, cause I have a ton more.

This is me a few years older than Riley is now.

Do you think we look alike?

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

It's Wednesday.

It's Wednesday. I don't really have anything to say. I'm extremely tired. Riley cheered in one of the starter bowls tonight and got a metal. I'm still waiting for the season to slow down. Not that I don't love it, I just need things to slow down a little bit. I need to go to the grocery store too. Although I do feel a little creative when we haven't gone to the store in a really long time, like a month, and I can still pull a dinner together. We go for things like milk, and bread, but haven't been for much else in a REALLY long time. It also made me realize that we have a lot of food in the cabinets. Now the only things left are about 500 jars of peanut butter and 300 cans of salmon and black beans each. I can't do canned salmon. Ew. The bones creep me out big time, although they are packed with calcium and very good for you! The end. I guess I had a lot more to say than I thought.

Competition

It's hard to believe that my little baby had her first cheerleading competition this Saturday!

I'm forever proud of her and the other girls on the squad for their performance and all their hard work!

The day was very emotional for me. My mom was never able to make it to my cheerleading competitions when I was little, so it was really important for me to be there for Riley. I doubt she even realizes how important it is, but I understand and am grateful that I got to share this experience with her.

Here are the pictures that the photographers at competition took! The DVD will be available in a few weeks, and I will post their routine when I get it!

I'm so proud of you baby!
Go Lions!

Cheer Party!

Fall Break!

It's Fall Break!!!! I will be sleeping in (till like 8am if I'm lucky), snuggling my babies, and working on my fifty nine page Community Health Nursing assignment...

Mamarazzi Monday

It's Mamarazzi Monday with Ann Maire at Household 6 Diva. I have been taking pictures like crazy this week and have about 6 six SD cards floating around here somewhere, but until I fine them, here are a few of the sweetest pictures of my 9 month old and her big sis!

I love the many faces of my sweet little babes!

Photography Project Two

My Photography Assignment Two was to take a portrait of a person at least 18 years of age. That was pretty much all the criteria that was given, which made it challenging for me. I don't like to think more than I have to, and when options are left open, one has to think. I think enough already though, geeze! These are my favorite photographs that I shot of my friend Candice, the middle left is my favorite.

Which one do you like best?

night before competition!

'Twas the night before Competition, when all through the house

were cheerleaders screaming, cheering, and ready to bounce

The curlers were placed and  hair sprayed with care,

In hopes that the trophies soon would be theirs

The girls couldn’t practice, all giggly instead

While visions of toe touches danced in their heads

Smiles, jumps, rolls, and cheering machines

Good luck to all, and to all a good routine!
