It's time for Five Question Friday with Mama M.
I try to do it every week, but you know, this silly thing called life gets in the way sometimes.
1. What do you do when you have time to yourself?
Sleep. Blog. Shop. Times to myself to do whatever I'd like are few and far between. It's usually ohh I have five quiet minutes, I'll organize our bills, or fold and put laundry away without a toddler undoing it.
2. When you look out your kitchen window what do you see?
Our deck, backyard, trampoline, and the neighbor's house with their pet ducks.
3. Who/What would you want to be reincarnated as?
A bird, flying would be awesome!
4. What is your biggest pet peeve about other people's kids?
This may make me sound like a snob, but when people bring their babies into stores in diapers only. Especially if it's not hot outside.Oh and we were at an end of summer festival and this little boy who had to be no older than 7 or 8 kept talking about his "balls" where Riley could hear. Ew. It wasn't just one comment either. It was oh my .... are sweating. Ohh my.... itch...... kick me in the..... We didn't wait for that bounce house any longer. haha
5. Regular or diet soda?
Ew, as much as I try, I can't do diet. I waste a lot of my calories a day on cherry coke.

My pet peeves about other people kids is when I see a child not discipline.

ok Meg, I am sorry to laugh out loud, but you cracked me up about the "ball" comments! I totally understand that you would not want your daughter to hear that! I would kick my boys in the butt if they ever talked like that!!! But to read this, I just died laughing because, of course, I have two boys, and I have heard that word before!! However, the only time I have heard them say it is if they got hurt or they thought something was wrong and had to tell me about it. I actually raised them to say testicles, but.....when they go to school, they learn different words! Sounds like that little boy learned a new word and was trying to impress everyone! The first time my younger son said "balls" I about died. But...he was telling me that he got hit in the balls in gym class. Oh my Meg, I am so sorry, I hope I haven't grossed you out...but since I am a momma of 2 boys and you are a momma of 2 girls...of course there will be some differeces! too funny! But just to let you know, I never use that word when talking with my boys, and they actually do use the "technical" word, but sometimes, yes, I do hear it. And just so you don't think we're strange or something, this rarely comes up...like I say, only when they get hurt playing or something like that! :)
